Pentagon-Sponsored Researchers Working On Controlling Weather With Super Lasers -- AllVoices

Vagaries of the weather is something humans have been resigned to since time immemorial. But, who would have ever thought that one day we would be able to manipulate it to do our bidding?

It appears now that technology will allow us to do just that. Pentagon-sponsored researchers are developing a brand new technique involving dual laser beam that will help us to control the weather.

Researchers at the University of Central Florida (UCF) believe their technique of sending incredibly high-powered lasers into the sky will induce clouds to drop rain and trigger thunderbolts.

Scientists have always known that water condensation and lighting cause huge amounts of static charged particles. But when these particles are stimulated, you actually have the ability to be the master himself — in a sense of course.

Well why not? They've decided to quit the war fighting business anyway.
