Daily Mail: Why me? Obama aide Susan Rice hints she's the victim of sexism and racism for being at center of 'unmasking' storm
* Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice sat down with New York Magazine and discussed why she got so much flack in the 'unmasking' scandal
* Rice said that she didn't want to 'leap to the simple explanation that it's only about race and gender'
* Though she also pointed to the aftermath of the Benghazi attack, noting that Press Secretary Jay Carney, a white male, received less blame
Susan Rice, the Obama administration official blamed for the 'unmasking' of Michael Flynn and others on intelligence reports, aired out some theories to New York Magazine as to why she became the one to blame.
'Let me put it this way,' she said. 'I do not leap to the simple explanation that it's only about race and gender. I'm trying to keep theories to myself until I'm ready to come out with them. It's not because I don't have any.'
But she does hint that her race and gender played a role.
'I've spent a lot of time thinking about this. What do you think?' she asked the magazine reporter.

Wtf I didn't even know it was her until very late into the unmasking business. ...this is so pathetic!
Women should be outraged at this - Rice makes it hard for women to be taken seriously when almost always when you criticise them for their actions (even before you knew it was them) and they then play this card. Not gonna even dignify the racist card. Ffs. No shame.
The race and gender card, I wish people would just grow up and take their lumps when they get caught, but no race and gender seems to be the first line of defence, by weasels, so sick of it.
It is a very strong card because if you like Trumpand I say bullshit, we are signed off as racists and according to CNN she is right.
Racsim and sexism. Its all they have because its all that has gotten them where they are. There is nothing else behind them, just affirmative action. And incompetence. Certainly not a bit of leadership.
That was a powerful 'lot' of virtue signaling!
